Emotional Intelligence

Utilize an assertive style of communication and then respond instead of reacting to conflict. Utilize active listening skills. Practice the 80/20/rule. Eighty percent listening, twenty percent talking. As the person talking less is actually the one controlling the conversation. Become motivated and practice ways to maintain a positive attitude. Try to see the silver lining in everything. And lastly, practice self-awareness, take critiques well, emphasize with others, and be approachable and sociable, while utilizing leadership skills.

When your emotional health is in a bad state, so is our level of self-esteem.
